Prez Mahama picks Number 1 spot on ballot paper

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, President John Mahama will occupy the number one position on the ballot paper for the December general elections.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party will occupy the third position on the ballot paper after they picked the third spot.

The ballot which was held today is how the various political parties would be positioned on the ballot paper for the December 7 polls.

The GCPP led by Dr. Henry Lartey will occupy the second position on the ballot paper while, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom will occupy the fourth position.

The United Front Party led by Kwesi Addae Odike who was controversially cleared on Thursday by the Electoral Commission will occupy the fifth with Hassan of the PNC occupying the sixth position.

Dr. Abu Sakara of the Convention People’s Party is the seventh on the ballot paper with Independent Candidate Jacob Osei taking the eighth position on the ballot paper.
