Chamber of Commerce expresses condolence to Prez. Mills family, Ghanaians

The Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday expressed its condolence to the family of Professor John Atta-Mills and Ghanaians over his sudden demise.

A statement signed by Mr. Prosper Adabla, Vice President Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, lauded President Mills for his exemplary leadership qualities.

The statement urged the family and Ghanaians to take great courage and strength in such a difficult moment.

“We must say that even though his passing away was sudden and unexpected, we take some consolation in the fact that he lived a very selfless and productive life just to ensure the well being of the people of Ghana.”

The statement called on all Ghanaians to use this occasion to unite as one people with a common destiny and forge ahead.**
