Seventy per cent of Engen Ghana lubricants blended locally

Mr Henry Akwaboah, Managing Director Engen Ghana limited, has said 70 per cent of its lubricants are blended at the Tema Lube Oil Company in conformity with the government’s local content policy.

He said the locally blended lubricants are environmentally friendly and fall within the specifications from the American Petroleum Institute as well as Ghana Standards Board.

Mr Akwaboah said this during the finale draw of Engen Golden Top-Up Promotion at Kumasi adding that Engen products are also blended with the Ghanaian customer in mind and thereby give the customer a wide range of varieties to choose from both old and new engines, heavy or light machinery.

He said as a world leading lubricants specialist the company will continue to invest in innovation in order to develop groundbreaking products that perform under the most challenging and arduous environments and conditions.

Mr Akwaboah said Engen being a responsible corporate citizen believes in high standards in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality in conformity with its vision of becoming the number one downstream company in sub-Sahara Africa.

The Games Commission which supervised the draw declared vehicle with registration number GS 8193-09 as the winner of the Golden Top-Up Promotion organised by ENGEN Ghana Limited.

Mr Agbeko Lotsu, Retail and Property Development Manager of Engen Ghana, said the first prize winner will receive 12 months free servicing with EGL lubes products, a 300.00 Ghana cedis shopping voucher for EGL Quick Shops and a weekend stay in a top class hotel.

He said the second prize will receive six months free servicing with EGL lubes products, 200.00 Ghana cedis shopping voucher for EGL Quick Shops, and the third prize winner receives three months free servicing with EGL lubes products, 100.00 Ghana cedis shopping voucher for EGL Quick Shops.

He said the fourth to the 20th winners will receive consolation prizes from EGL.
