The medical outreach scheduled for Tuesday, December 20, will take place at the Bukom Square and Nungua by Cuban-trained medical doctors and Christian Medical Missions Resource Foundation, a non-governmental organization, while the public lecture will take place on Wednesday, December 28 at the National Theatre.

Climax of the celebration would be the route march on Satrurday, December 31, from El-Wak Stadium through to 37 Military Hospital to the Revolutionary Square opposite the Flagstaff House where there would be a parade, wreath laying in memory of fallen heroes and lighting of the perpeptual flame by former President Rawlings.

Moslem prayers would take place at the Central Mosque at Abossey Okai on Friday, January 13, 2012 and thanksgiving church service at Solid Rock Church at Ashongman on Sunday, January 15, 2012.

Mr Nuamah-Donkor explained that the commemoration would provide an opportunity to bequeath to the younger generation the legacy of patriotism demonstrated by leadership of the revolution.

“The revolution brought about unadulterated spirit of self-help and sense of responsibility that permeated all facets of both public and private life,” he said and called on all patriots of the revolution to join in the celebration.
