I will make Ellembelle Constituency an NDC stronghold - Buah

Aiyinasi (W/R), Nov. 22, GNA - The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Mr Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, has said he would make the Ellembelle Constituency a stronghold of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

It is therefore his avowed aim to discharge his mandate creditably to turn round the fortunes of his constituents.

Mr Buah, the Deputy Minister of Energy, said this during a meeting with zonal executives of the NDC in the Ellembelle Constituency at Aiyinasi where he declared his intention to seek re-nomination.

He said the 2012 budget statement would determine the future of Nzema since it was the first time the area and for that matter the Western Region had been captured in the budget page by page to cater for the developmental needs of the Region.

Mr Buah said the party would not allow any executive or member to be a stumbling block to its victory and would give chance to members who have the ability to better the fortunes of the party.

He urged NDC executives to tell the success story of the government to the people and make the better Ghana agenda a reality.

The constituency chairman, Mr. Kwesi Berveh, appealed to party members to do away with divisive tendencies and unite to retain power in 2012. The District Chief Executive, Mr. Daniel K. Eshun, said an action plan would soon be drawn for all stakeholders to map up strategies for winning the 2012 general election.
