Prez Mills Goes On Leave

His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills may soon take his annual leave for a rest from a year-long fatigue, and to replenish energy for the 2012 year of all-action.

The president boldly stated that he will be going on leave sometime in the middle of this month to rest his “bones”.

Interacting with the Castle Press Corp on Wednesday, President Mills, in response to a question from GTV’s Napoleon Ato Kittoe, as to whether he (the President) intends taking a break, said that, he intends to take a break and have some well-deserved rest.

Asking his question, Mr. Ato Kittoe wondered why the President hadn’t taken a break to rest just as members of the Judiciary and Parliamentarians have done.
“Mr. President, would you be going on leave just as the judiciary, parliament and some of your appointees have done?” was the question Napoleon asked.
“Yes, I intend to take a break sometime this month after seeing to a few issues; especially, making sure that the budget has been read” President Mills disclosed.
“I need to take a break to go and rest my bones”, he added.
After working hard for the past 10 months; especially, in energy-straining activities of embarking on excruciating working-visits around the country, the President indeed deserves to take a break and rest his tired “bones”.
If all categories of workers go on leave, why should His Excellency President Mills not go on leave?
If those stomach journalists, who think about nothing but their stomachs, can go on leave, why should President Mills, who is carrying the burden of the whole nation, not go on leave?
Indeed, as the election year approaches, with all its hectic activities, it is only right and proper that President Atta Mills takes some time off his busy schedule to take a well-deserved rest, to refuel his energy system for the arduous job ahead.
