NPP flagbearer pledges to be fair and even-handed

Bibiani (W/R), Oct. 4, GNA - Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has pledged to be fair and even-handed when given the mandate to lead the nation. He said no section of the population should therefore have any cause t= o fear or feel threatened.

Nana Akufo Addo made this known when he interacted with members of the Zongo community in Bibiani in the Western Region. It was part of his listening tour to get first hand information about the concerns of voters as he prepares for the battle to wrest political power in the 2012 General Election. He gave the assurance that he would work hard to tackle the growing unemployment, particularly among the youth. Nana Akufo Addo said the ruling National Democratic Congress performance has been abysmal 96 a complete disappointment, and must be kic= ked out of office.

He appealed to the electorate to vote massively for him and his party= 's parliamentary candidates to restore hope and confidence to the nation and put the economy on the path of real progress. The NPP flag bearer introduced the NPP's parliamentary candidate for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Mr Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu, to the people and pleaded with them to give their votes to him. Nana Akufo-Addo also interacted with students of the Bibiani Secondary Technical School and the people of Bibiani Old Town, Chirano, Subri, Anhwiaso and Patabuoso.
