NPP-USA Calls on President Mills to Come Clean

As the “action year” comes to an end without much “action” to show for, President Mills has only succeeded in tagging on yet another unfulfilled promise to those he made to Ghanaians. The Wikileaks cables and the ensuing discussions have thereby provided a welcomed diversion and respite from the gut wrenching cries of Ghanaians about the miserable existence the Mills/Mahama administration has visited on the nation.

In desperation the NDC lying machinery in the form of tabloids like The Informer and The Herald have sought to twist the contents in the cables, in a delusional believe that they can make the NPP Flagbearer the central figure of the wicked gossips. However, like the proverbial sheep that was determined to soil the streets with its excrement, little did it realize that it was soiling its own tail.

NPP-USA would rather discuss important nation-building issues, but since the NDC is obsessed with discussing Wikileaks as a diversionary strategy, by all means, let us discuss Wikileaks. It is pathetic that the NDC tabloids would attempt to trumpet an allegation of wee smoking leveled against Nana Akufo Addo by a paid informer, Mr. Kwesi Pratt, a two-faced double agent who will say anything for money. Give Pratt some money, and he would call his own mother “a whore.” Conveniently ignored is the very incriminating revelation about President Atta Mills made by one of his trusted lieutenants, Baba Jamal. In the Wikileaks cables that the NDC lying machinery has selectively serialized to further its own diabolical political propaganda, Baba Jamal told an American Embassy agent that President Atta Mills has throat cancer.

To date neither the president nor his loquacious deputy minister of misinformation, Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa, has come out to deny or confirm this allegation. If this revelation is true, then President Atta Mills owes Ghanaians sincere apology because he has lied to the nation. When campaigning for the presidency, then candidate Mills concealed a pre-existing medical condition he had to the electorate. Now this condition is costing Ghanaians a whopping $5 million annually to treat. In the cooperate world, if a would-be employee conceals a preexisting condition in order to obtain a position, the employer reserves the right to fire the said employee who falsified his medical condition to be hired. Similarly, if one falsifies or conceals a preexisting medical condition to obtain an insurance coverage, the insurer would cancel the policy if the condition is revealed after the coverage is obtained.

Even more damaging is the cause or throat cancer. From our research the throat cancer Baba Jamal revealed to the officer in the American Embassy is caused by excessive use of alcohol, excessive smoking or excessive male oral sex. But a study by Professor Maura Gillison of Ohio State University found that “oral sex is a bigger cause of throat cancer than tobacco.” According to the study, “the human papilloma virus (HPV) spread during unprotected sex is to blame for a disturbing rise in potentially deadly oral cancers in the last few decades.”

This study raises more disturbing questions about President Mills that must be answered before the pious cloak in which he has wrapped himself comes shattering into smithereens.

Here are a few questions on the minds of Ghanaians: first, does President Atta Mills drink alcohol excessively? We understand he stopped drinking a long time ago. Furthermore, if alcohol abuse was the main cause of throat cancer, the disease would be more prevalent in Ghana today than its current levels suggest. Second, does President Mills smoke excessively? If he smokes what does he smoke, cigarettes or marijuana? Here again, we are told he stopped smoking decades ago. Further, if smoking was the main cause of throat cancer, the ailment would afflict many more Ghanaians than its current levels suggest.

That brings us to the final question. Does President Mills engage in excessive male oral sex? Interestingly, of the litany of accusations leveled against President Mills, the one that attracted the lightning speed response along with a threat of legal action by Mr. Ato Ahwoi was that which suggested that he and President Mills are sex partners. Of all the accusations, did this one strike a particularly sensitive nerve within the Mills/Mahama administration to be so singled out for a quick response and a threat of lawsuit?

Compared to the hearsay-driven assertion that Nana Akufo-Addo is a marijuana smoker, this suggestion of President Mills’ homosexuality is backed by scientific evidence. If President Mills suffers from throat cancer, and an empirical study finds that “oral sex is a bigger cause of throat cancer than tobacco,” then suggestion of the president’s homosexuality graduates from the gossip column to a major concern. NPP-USA is therefore calling on His Excellency President Atta Mills to answer the nagging questions on the minds of Ghanaians as a result of his own minister’s revelations captured in the Wikileaks cables, and which appears to substantiate his homosexuality.
