BusyInternet crowed Best Internet Service Provider for the year

BusyInternet has been adjudged the nation's Best Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the year 2010 at the 22nd annual Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) held in Accra.

This is the third consecutive time that the company has won top honours in that category.

Mr. Praveen Sadalage, Managing Director of the Company, told journalists in Accra on Monday that the award demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing the best broadband and data storage services that meets the needs of corporate bodies, Small Medium Enterprises as well as the individual.

He said the first recognition was given by the Ministry of Communications in the year 2008/2009 who selected BusyInternet as the best ISP Company followed by the two honours in that category by the CIMG in 2009 and 2010 .

Mr. Sadalage said: "Over the last ten years, BusyInternet has not only led the internet revolution in Ghana, but is constantly employing innovative ways to bring quality and affordable services to its customers."

On the recent innovations, he said BusyInternet also, launched Ghana’s first commercial and carrier neutral data centre, “We were the first operator to launch on new MainOne cable system, a submarine network cable, that provide a superfast internet connectivity and data download.”

“Our technology platform for fixed broadband access solutions delivers a fast, cost-effective, scalable and reliable connectivity. These solutions offer flexible options to improve coverage to meet subscriber demand and are designed to work and suit all kinds of environment.
