rLG Phones joins list of sponsors of 36th SWAG Awards Night

Accra, June 5, GNA - The 36th Edition of the MTN/SWAG Awards has been given a further boost in sponsorship by the nation's leading manufacturer of mobile phones - rLG.

The company has joined the list of sponsors for this year's event with a sponsorship package worth 3000 GH cedis cash and mobile phones for the organization of the event.

This is the first time the company is joining the prestigious awards, that is organized by the Association for distinguished sports men and women who excelled in 2010.

David Afugani, Marketing Manager of rLG who confirmed the participation of his company in the 36th SWAG Awards said their brand is associated with the youth and the decision to be part of the event is to contribute to the development of the youth through sports.

He said the sponsorship marks the beginning of a relationship between rLG and SWAG and was confident that it will grow bigger next year. Afugani indicated that rLG hopes to foster a long lasting relationship with SWAG to develop and promote sports in Ghana.

The 36th Edition of the MTN SWAG Awards is scheduled for July 2, at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.

Over 800 guests drawn for the various stakeholders in sports are expected to participate in the event that will confer honours of 30 sports men and women for their outstanding performance in 2010.
