The Upper East Regional Minister, Mr Mark Woyongo, said the government was committed to providing electricity for the rural poor and that was why it sought 150 million dollars which would be used to provide electricity to 600 communities in the Region. Officials of VRA took the participants through some of the routine activities and facilities including some electricity plants and explained how they functioned.
