A Ghanaian man and his wife, said to be based in the US, have reportedly been assaulted and threatened at gunpoint by some unidentified individuals demanding information about the whereabouts of a man identified as Charles.

In a video shared on X on Sunday, November 8, 2026, the man was seen being threatened with a gun and ordered to disclose the whereabouts of his friend, Charles.

His wife was also reportedly forced to the ground at gunpoint as the assailants demanded answers from the couple.

The couple, however, insisted that they did not know Charles' whereabouts, despite the threats and intimidation.

The assailants subsequently went through the man's phone and read messages exchanged between him and Charles in an attempt to establish their relationship and obtain information about his friend's location.

During the confrontation, the couple was allegedly warned that they would be held responsible for producing Charles in Ghana if he managed to escape from Mexico.

Meanwhile, the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the identities of the assailants and the couple's exact location, remain unclear.
