Jordan Ayew: The Black Stars captain, who missed the previous squad, is expected to return ahead of the upcoming matches as he continues to feature for his club.
The attacker recently scored his first goal for Sheffield United and was named Player of the Match, capping an impressive performance.
Mohammed Kudus: The Ghanaian winger has been in good form for Tottenham Hotspur and has played a key role in the club’s recent performances since returning from injury.
He has made 10 appearances, including six starts, and provided three crucial assists. His inclusion would be a major boost to the Black Stars.
Marvin Senaya: The defender, who suffered a hamstring injury during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has returned to club football.
He featured as a substitute against Strasbourg and Auxerre, putting in encouraging performances as he gradually regains match fitness following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Prince Kwabena Adu: The striker, who sustained an injury in the early stages of the season, struggled to feature regularly for his club as the team focused on his recovery to avoid aggravating the injury.
However, after making a full recovery, Adu has scored three goals in his last three appearances for Viktoria Plzeň across domestic league and European competitions.
The Black Stars will face Somalia in a double-header on Matchdays Three and Four as they seek to revive their qualification campaign following a disappointing start.
Ghana lost their opening two matches, suffering a 2-0 defeat to Côte d’Ivoire in Bouaké before losing 4-2 to The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The poor results led to head coach Carlos Queiroz’s resignation, prompting the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation to begin the search for a new substantive manager.
Kim Lars Björkegren was appointed to lead the team, with Ibrahim Tanko and Godwin Attram serving as assistant coaches. Former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda has also been appointed goalkeeping trainer.
The first match against Somalia is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, with the return fixture set for November 16.
