Certified FIFA Agent Christian Mensah has questioned the progress of Ghanaian football under the current Ghana Football Association (GFA), demanding tangible results after seven years in office.
Mensah tackled this issue in a discussion on Metro TV, while reacting to comments by Sheik Tophic A.K. Sienu, who spoke about the development of Ghana football.
He argued that development must be reflected in measurable progress and results, insisting that Ghanaian football stakeholders cannot continue to rely on promises without seeing tangible improvements.
Three-year-old soccer prodigy reportedly removed from league after complaints
“It's been seven years in power. Where are the results in seven years?” Mensah questioned.
He cited Ghana's struggles at the U-17 and U-20 levels, as well as the Black Stars' difficulties in securing qualification forthe Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), as examples of areas where progress should be evident.
According to Mensah, results remain the most convincing measure of development, insisting that explanations about progress would not be accepted without visible achievements.
“Your results are what will speak for you. If you're not having the results, everything you are telling us, we will not buyit,” he added.
