The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced November 2 to 7, 2026, as the dates for screening and medical examinations for preselected National Service Personnel interested in its Basic Military Training Programme.
The exercise, which begins on Monday, November 2, and ends on Saturday, November 7, is intended to determine the eligibility and medical fitness of prospective participants ahead of the commencement of the military training programme.
In a notice dated November 1, 2026, the Authority urged all preselected National Service Personnel (NSPs) who expressed interest in the programme to take note of the scheduled dates and make the necessary arrangements to participate in the exercise.
The screening and medical examination form part of the preparatory processes for selecting personnel who meet the requirements to participate in the Basic Military Training Programme.
The NSA, however, did not disclose the specific screening centres or reporting times in the notice.
It indicated that further information on designated screening centres, reporting schedules and other requirements would be communicated to prospective participants through the appropriate channels.
The Authority has consequently urged all preselected applicants to stay alert for additional instructions to avoid missing any part of the exercise.
