A woman has been caught on camera retrieving a black polythene bag believed to contain human waste after a man confronted her for allegedly dumping it in a bush within a residential neighbourhood.

The bizarre incident, captured in a viral video circulating on social media, shows the man challenging the woman over her alleged actions and insisting that she return to collect the package she had discarded.

In the footage, the woman initially appears more concerned about being recorded than the accusation levelled against her.

“Why are you videoing me?” she asks, confronting the man over his decision to film the encounter.

However, the man remains undeterred and continues recording while insisting that she retrieve the black polythene bag from the bush.

The woman eventually walks towards the spot where the package was allegedly dumped, locates it, picks it up and walks away with it.

Although the exact location and circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, the video has drawn attention to the persistent problem of indiscriminate waste disposal and poor sanitation in residential communities.

The incident also comes against the backdrop of ongoing efforts to improve environmental sanitation in Ghana, where open defecation, improper disposal of household waste and other unsanitary practices remain public health concerns.
