Iconic footballer Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick as Al Nassr thumped Al Kholood 5-3 in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

The match started on a disappointing note for the Portuguese star, as his effort was ruled out for offside after he had celebrated with his teammates and fans.

However, the 41-year-old produced a dominant second-half performance, scoring three goals in 15 minutes, with strikes in the 66th, 72nd and 81st minutes. It was the 68th hat-trick of his professional career.

The former Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus forward continues to chase the unprecedented milestone of reaching 1,000 career goals, maintaining his scoring form as he approaches the final stretch.

Ronaldo needs just 15 more goals to reach the remarkable milestone, which would further cement his place in football history as one of the game's most prolific goalscorers.

The victory has helped Al Nassr maintain their position at the top of the Saudi Pro League table and keep their title defence on track.

Ronaldo is expected to join the Portugal national team during the November 2026 international break despite his earlier suspension following an alleged disagreement with head coach Jorge Jesus over his reduced playing time.

He will be aiming to add to his international goal tally and further strengthen his status as the all-time leading goalscorer in men's international football.
