Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah was in action for Olympique Lyonnais as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French Ligue 1.
Late goals from Senny Mayulu in the 72nd minute and Mika Godts in the 84th minute secured the victory for PSG.

Nuamah started the game on the right wing, constantly posing a threat to the reigning European champions’ defence with his dribbling and attempts to create scoring opportunities.
On some occasions, he tracked back to support the defence, win possession and initiate counter-attacks. However, he was unable to find the back of the net, with some of his shots saved by the opposition goalkeeper.
One notable aspect of his performance was his pressing, as he sought to win the ball and dribble past opposing players, drawing fouls on several occasions.
Despite his efforts, Lyon suffered defeat at the Parc des Princes, dealing a blow to their pursuit of success in the French Ligue 1.
Nuamah will hope to maintain his form as the Black Stars prepare to face Somalia in a two-legged 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying encounter. Ghana will be looking to recover after losing to Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia in their opening two group matches.
