A GoFundMe campaign launched for three-year-old soccer player Nevada Pierre has raised $10,036 following an incident at a youth soccer game in Winter Park, Florida, where police were called amid a dispute involving his parents and league officials.

The fundraiser was organised by Nevada’s mother, Martasia Griffin, after the October 24, 2026 incident at an i9 Sports youth soccer programme.

The family claims Nevada was being excluded because of his exceptional football skills, while a league official alleged that the disagreement involved the conduct of his parents and concerns about pushing during games.

Griffin describes her son as a bright and passionate child who has loved soccer since he was one year old.

She credits his father, Don Pierre, for nurturing his talent and helping him develop his love for the game.

According to the family, Nevada’s ability to dominate matches against older children led to complaints, with his father claiming in a video shared online that police were called because the three-year-old was too good and held on to the ball for too long.
