Ghanaian duo Shak Mohammed and maxwell Woledzi have won the Supporters’ Shield trophy after Nashville SC’s 2-0 at CF Montreal on Saturday, 24 October 2026.

Centre-back Woledzi lasted the entire duration of the match and Mohammed was an unused substitute.

The victory handed the Boys in Gold the requisite advantage it needed to clinch the MLS regular season title with three matches to clear.

Nashville are in pole position for the league record should they take five points from the final nine available.

It marks the second piece of major silverware in club history after last season’s U.S. Open Cup.

The Supporters’ Shield is awarded to the Major League Soccer club that finishes with the most points in the regular season, before the MLS Cup Playoffs begin.

It recognises the best team over the entire regular-season campaign.
