Prince Kwaw Gyimah, host of Owass FM’s morning programme, Oman Nkosuo, in Tarkwa in the Western Region, has spoken about the circumstances surrounding Kwame Dzokoto’s final radio appearance.

Speaking in a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb on October 23, 2026, he recounted how the late television show host, actor and politician suffered a health emergency during the live broadcast and was rushed to the hospital.

“We had the opportunity to interview the legend, Seth Kwame Dzokoto, on our morning show, Oman Nkosuo. We were really excited to have him on the show.

“But during the show, he had a health emergency, and we rushed him to the hospital. We were traumatised by the incident. We send our condolences to his family,” Gyimah said.

The presenter has since received praise on social media for maintaining his composure during the difficult broadcast, which ended with the actor being rushed to the hospital.

Dzokoto became unwell during a live discussion at the Tarkwa-based radio station on Thursday, October 22, 2026, and subsequently died at the hospital.
