The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Malik Basintale, is appearing for the first time on the government’s Accountability Series today, October 21, 2026.
His address is expected to focus on his stewardship of the agency and highlight measures taken to boost youth employment since he assumed office.
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015 (Act 887) to empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation.
Since taking office, Basintale’s administration has undertaken several initiatives, according to media reports.
