There was drama at Coastal Faith Ministry, headed by its founder and leader, Apostle Solomon Sarfo Boafo, after he allegedly informed a family that their relative, who had been staying at the church for healing, had died.
According to multiple reports circulating on social media, accompanied by video footage, the family had allegedly abandoned their relative, said to be a medical doctor who studied in China, at the church for nearly three years after he developed a mental health condition.
The church leader reportedly decided to test the family's concern for their relative by informing them that he had passed away.
Upon receiving the news of his supposed death, family members, some dressed in black mourning attire, reportedly rushed to the church to retrieve his body.
However, what they expected to be a moment of mourning took an unexpected turn when Apostle Solomon Sarfo Boafo revealed that their relative was still alive and presented him to the family.
The revelation sparked a heated exchange between some family members and individuals at the church, as allegations emerged that the family had neglected their relative for nearly three years.
Some family members disputed the allegations, insisting that they had not abandoned him.
However, some church members maintained that the family would not have shown up if they had not been informed of their relative's supposed death.
The incident subsequently generated tension at the church, with both sides exchanging arguments over the family's alleged neglect of the man.
A family reportedly abandoned their relative, a medical doctor who studied in China, at a church for nearly three years after he developed a mental health condition, only to rush there dressed in black after the church leader, Apostle Solomon Sarfo Boafo, intentionally told them he had died. The apostle has since handed the man over to his family.
