First National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, has urged party executives in France to intensify efforts to reconnect with members who have become inactive.

He made the appeal during an engagement with NPP executives in France as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s diaspora structures and consolidate support among Ghanaians living abroad.

Kojo Bamba encouraged the executives to continue supporting the party financially and through their contributions, regardless of the size of their resources.

He acknowledged the contributions party members had made over the years, dating back to the administration of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and urged them to sustain their commitment to the NPP.

“Continue to support the party with your money, whether little or much, and with your work. Your contributions to the NPP, from the time of President John Agyekum Kufuor to now, have been important,” he stated.

Bamba also called on the executives to reach out to former members and supporters who had stopped attending party meetings or participating in its activities.

He urged them to inform such individuals that the party had a new leadership and needed their experience, commitment and support to strengthen its structures.

Kojo Bamba was elected as the First National Vice Chairman at the party’s National Delegates Conference in Kumasi on October 3, 2026.

He secured 3,116 votes to defeat several contenders, including Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B.

His election has drawn attention to his political journey particularly because of his background as an auto mechanic and organising members of the pro-NPP group Delta Force and grassroots political organiser.
