The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set a GH¢50,000 filing fee for aspirants seeking to become regional chairpersons, with fees for other regional executive positions ranging from GH¢10,000 to GH¢30,000.

Under the approved fee structure for the party’s 2026 regional executive elections, candidates contesting the positions of Regional Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Organizer will each pay GH¢30,000.

Aspirants for Regional Treasurer and Communication Officer are required to pay GH¢20,000 each, while those seeking to become Youth Organizer, Women’s Organizer, and Zongo Caucus Coordinator will pay GH¢15,000 each.

The filing fee for deputy positions, including Deputy Secretary, Deputy Organizer, Deputy Treasurer, Deputy Communication Officer, Deputy Youth Organizer, and Deputy Women’s Organizer, has been fixed at GH¢10,000 each.

In addition to the filing fees, aspirants are required to pay GH¢1,000 for nomination forms.

The party has also announced a 50 percent reduction in filing fees for female aspirants and persons with disabilities (PWDs), although the special concession does not apply to candidates contesting the positions of Women’s Organizer and Deputy Women’s Organizer.

All payments are to be made online through the party’s official nomination portal, forms.ghanandc.com, using Mobile Money, Visa, or Mastercard. The party has indicated that bank payments and bankers’ drafts will not be accepted.

Both nomination and filing fees are non-refundable.

The regional executive elections form part of the NDC’s 2026 internal reorganization, with regional polls scheduled for November 14 and 15, 2026.
