A lighthearted moment during President John Dramani Mahama’s regional engagement in the Ahafo Region has captivated social media users after a resident celebrated receiving a presidential handshake with Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic "Siuuu" gesture.

In a viral video circulating across online platforms, President Mahama was engaging community members during a town hall-style citizens' dialogue, with Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu moderating the question-and-answer session.

When a young man patiently waited his turn in the queue and was handed the microphone, he skipped political questions entirely to make a single, personal plea.

"Please, I have just one request. I just want to shake the President, and I will be on my way. That is all I want," the resident requested.

Kwakye Ofosu looked toward President Mahama for approval, who warmly nodded in agreement before the moderator directed the young man to approach the stage.

Clearly overcome with joy, the resident approached the podium, dropped to his knee to shake the president's hand, and quickly turned to leave, celebrating the moment by executing the Portuguese football superstar’s famous jump-and-spin "Siuuu" celebration as the audience erupted in laughter and applause.
