A galamsey operator has threatened to kill police officers and military personnel who may be deployed to arrest him or stop him from engaging in illegal mining activities.

In a video shared on X on Friday, October 9, 2026, the miner dared security personnel to come after him, warning that anyone sent to apprehend him risked losing their life.

“Any police officer or soldier who is man enough should come and arrest me. If you don’t want to die, don’t come here when you are sent to stop us,” he said.

The galamseyer, who was seen descending an underground mine, insisted that no security officer could arrest him and claimed that not everyone could be penetrated by a bullet.

He further warned police officers and soldiers to consider resigning from their jobs rather than accepting assignments to arrest him, insisting that anyone who attempted to stop their activities would face deadly consequences.

The video has since attracted reactions from social media users, with some expressing concern over the miner’s threats against security personnel, while others have called for swift action by the relevant authorities to identify and arrest him.
