It seems the controversies surrounding Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo and her husband, Harold Norman, will not come to an end anytime soon, as new details have emerged.

One may recall that GhanaWeb recently gave a detailed account of incidents involving the couple following videos that surfaced online, which appeared to show Nana Akua Addo allegedly being assaulted by her husband.

Also, in a separate video making waves online, Nana Akua Addo’s husband, Harold Norman, is being criticised on social media over allegations that he physically abused their 13-year-old daughter, identified as Jesusa Norman.

In a recent development, new footage and documents sighted by GhanaWeb show that Harold Norman may not have been the only parent accused of physically assaulting their daughter.

According to reports gathered by GhanaWeb, Nana Akua Addo has also been accused of subjecting her daughter to trauma.

According to the report, the incident dates back to February 2, 2016, when Nana Akua Addo allegedly physically abused their daughter, Jesusa Norman, who was three years old at the time.

A medical report signed by the Medical Officer of the LEKMA Hospital, Dr Ibrahim Bin Mohammed, noted that Nana Akua Addo allegedly assaulted her three-year-old daughter, who has special needs.

The report further noted that Nana Akua Addo allegedly abused the three-year-old child with a belt.

The doctor, in his report, also stated that Nana Akua Addo showed no sign of remorse after allegedly subjecting her three-year-old daughter to a series of abuse.

The report further noted that, in his medical assessment dated February 2, 2016, the fashion icon needed an evaluation.

Also, in a series of phone chats between Jesusa and her father, Nana Akua Addo’s daughter was seen narrating how she had allegedly been subjected to constant abuse by her mother.

In the chats that have surfaced online, young Jesusa was seen narrating how her mother had allegedly been physically abusing her.

According to the chats, Jesusa complained that she believed she was being hated by her mother.

“I have never cried for mommy before, but today, I know she hates me and my sister,” Jesusa told her father.

Also, in the same conversation, Nana Akua Addo’s daughter was seen complaining to her father that she and her sister had allegedly been starved by their mother.

“Me and Katriel are going to die of hunger. She thinks we don't have our phone.”

The father was seen in the chat asking Jesusa if she had eaten, to which the little girl replied:

“No, but we have eaten in the morning, but evening, no. And tomorrow there's no food there, and she said she does not care. She and the neighbours were insulting Katie and Katie,” Jesusa noted.

In separate footage, Jesusa, together with one of Nana Akua Addo’s children, was seen showing scars on their bodies to their father, Harold Norman.

In the video, the children were heard alleging that their mother had been beating them with wires.

“She mostly beat me with wires. Most of them were bruises, but they are gone. I heard she (Nana Akua Addo) was going to Nigeria.”
