The Ghana Police Service has detailed its account of the alleged assault involving Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo and her husband, Harold Norman.

In a statement issued by the Police and signed by Chief Inspector Francis Kwesi Yeboah on October 7, 2026, the Service noted that Harold Norman was picked up by the Police CID on August 27, 2026, after it received a petition from the fashion icon, Rosemond Akua Adobea, who alleged that she had been subjected to physical, emotional and economic abuse by her husband.

According to the Police, following investigations into the case, it was discovered that the couple had previously been handled by the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Lakeside and Ministries Police Stations in July 2026.
