Ten years apart, but André Ayew’s aura clearly has not changed.

The official Ligue 1 account has taken fans on a fashion flashback, sharing two pictures of the Ghanaian forward from 2015 and 2025, with the striking similarities quickly catching attention.

In the 2015 photo, Ayew, while at Marseille and injured, is seen watching a football game from the stands in a crisp white long-sleeved shirt, black tie, dark glasses and a black cap.

Fast forward a decade and the Ghana captain was once again rocking a white long-sleeved shirt, glasses and an equally distinctive outfit.

This time, Ayew paired the shirt with a black-and-blue sleeveless outer piece featuring white patterns, looking more contemporary and eye-catching.

The two photographs may be separated by 10 years, but Ligue 1's message was simple: some things do not change.

“10 years apart but chale, the aura still dey. André Ayew. Still that guy,” Ligue 1 wrote while posting the pictures.

The post quickly drew attention from fans, with many focusing on Ayew’s ability to maintain his distinctive style over the years.

Ayew, now 36, has enjoyed a long association with French football, having spent the formative years of his career at Marseille before returning to Ligue 1 with Le Havre in 2023.

And judging by Ligue 1’s latest throwback, the fashion game has aged just as well as the footballer.
