Barcelona winger Jesse Bisiwu has left the door open for a possible switch to play for the Black Stars in the near future.

The winger is currently committed to Belgium’s Under-21 side and has featured for them a couple of times but is yet to represent the senior national team.

Speaking about the possibility of a switch in the future, the player left the door open, saying he cannot predict what could happen but that anything is possible.

The winger stressed that he is currently focused on Belgium’s U-21 side and did not completely rule out the possibility of playing for the Black Stars in the future.

“In the future, you never know, but right now the focus is on the U21s and winning games,” Bisiwu told RTL Sports.

Meanwhile, reports emerged that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has been in contact with Jesse Bisiwu’s camp to convince him to play for the Black Stars.

It was also reported that the GFA has been engaging both the player and his representatives for months in an attempt to persuade him to commit to the national team.

Sources indicate that the Association is considering calling him up to the Black Stars squad as soon as possible. The Belgian Football Association is reportedly aware of the situation and is monitoring it, although no official communication has been made yet.
