Ghanaian boxer Theophilus Kpakpo “Theo Lopez” Allotey has defeated Argentina’s Facundo David Garcia by unanimous decision in their WBA Super Flyweight world title eliminator at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Allotey controlled the 12-round contest, securing identical 120-107 scorecards from all three judges to maintain his unbeaten record.
The Ghanaian made a fast start, dropping Garcia in the opening round before continuing to dictate the pace with sharp combinations, movement and accurate punching.

Garcia showed resilience and remained in the fight despite coming under sustained pressure from Allotey.
The Ghanaian came close to forcing a stoppage in the sixth round, while further attacks in the 10th and 11th rounds left the Argentine visibly wobbling.
Garcia pushed forward in the final round in search of a knockout, but Allotey remained composed and successfully navigated the closing stages to secure the points victory.
The win puts Allotey in line for a potential shot at the WBA Super Flyweight world title, following his victory at the Osagyefo Fight Night held in honour of Ghana’s first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
