The family of the late Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Dr Isaac Atteh Bampoe Addo, has suffered another loss following the death of his twin brother, Sidney Nii Oko Bampoe Addo.

Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo died on Friday, August 21, 2026, after a brief illness.

His twin brother, Sidney, has also died, barely three weeks after Dr Bampoe Addo’s death.

The successive deaths have plunged the Bampoe Addo family into mourning, with two brothers dying within a short period.

The development is also a major loss for Deputy Chief of Staff Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, who has lost two of her brothers within weeks.

Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo was a long-serving Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG and was actively involved in the association’s engagements on issues affecting public sector workers.

The death of Sidney barely three weeks later has compounded the family’s grief as relatives and friends come to terms with the loss of the two brothers.

Funeral and burial arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in due course.
