A UK-based Global Outreach Ministries has made some donations to Kumasi Central Prisons and Victory Educational Complex at Ahwiaso, a suburb in Kumasi.

The donations were made on August 10, 2026, aimed at strengthening education and bringing relief to the needy.

The outreach team first visited the Victory Educational Complex at Ahwiaso, where books, stationery and financial assistance were presented to support the underprivileged students.

The donation was received on behalf of the school by its Director, Bishop Maxwell Paul Appiah.

For the ministry, the presentation was about more than handing over the items. It was an investment in helping the children and young people to learn.

They then continued to the central prisons, where a substantial donation of food and drinks was presented to them

The items were received by Chief Inspector Wiafe and Rev Chief Inspector Isaac Mensah on behalf of the Service.

They believe this gesture will reshape our brothers in the correctional facilities.

"Support from churches like Global Outreach Ministries greatly complements what government is doing in our prisons," Rev Isaac Mensah noted.

This reflects the central conviction of Global Outreach Ministries: that Christian faith should be visible in every aspect of one's life.
The scripture even professes Christian charity and that is exactly what this church is doing.

The donations were presented by the Head Pastor, Dr Richard Frimpong, on behalf of Global Outreach Ministries in the United Kingdom.

The ministry describes itself as a local church with a global vision, committed to reaching people with the love of Christ and to practical ministry that impacts communities.

The UK outfit identifies Ghana as one of the countries in which it operates, with charitable purposes including the prevention or relief of poverty and support for children and young people.

The Kumasi outreach forms part of a broader pattern of practical mission in Ghana by the church, which keeps supporting deprived communities.
