Some top Ghanaian players are still searching for clubs after the closure of the summer 2026 transfer window, as the season has officially begun.
Several of these players featured for clubs during the 2025/2026 season, but their contracts were not renewed after expiration due to performance issues.
Others have been without clubs for longer periods, with failed attempts to secure new deals leaving them to train individually.
Enzo, Diomande, Barcola: 10 biggest transfers of the 2026/27 season
The major names on the list are former and current Black Stars captains Andre Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew, who have been training at Nania Park at the University of Ghana.
Dede Ayew's contract with NAC Breda was not renewed at the end of last season, while Jordan Ayew also parted ways with Leicester City.
Other players on the list include Mubarak Wakaso, who has been without a club for an extended period, as well as goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott, Joseph Aidoo, Kwabena Owusu, and several others.
Agents for these players are expected to be in active talks with clubs to secure deals, and their situations could change as the season progresses.
