Ghanaian entrepreneurs are set to gain opportunities to explore global markets, connect with international investors and build new business partnerships through the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) 2026 in Cairo.
The opportunity follows sponsorships announced at the GEF Global Business Forum held in Accra on August 28, 2026, under the theme “The World We Help to Create.”
The sponsorship package will cover travel, accommodation and access to the festival for selected Ghanaian entrepreneurs, enabling them to participate in one of Africa’s major entrepreneurship and business networking events.
According to a press statement, the initiative is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs who may not have the financial resources to travel to Cairo for the event.
Beyond attending the festival, the selected entrepreneurs are expected to use the platform to meet investors, explore new markets, identify potential business partners and establish international connections.
Some participants also secured fully sponsored places at the festival through a networking session held at the end of the Accra forum.
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival is scheduled to take place from November 6 to 8, 2026, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Cairo.
The event is expected to bring together more than 10,000 entrepreneurs, investors, government officials and other business stakeholders from around the world.
The Accra forum brought together stakeholders from the business, diplomatic and public sectors, including representatives from British International Investment, UNESCO and the Egyptian Embassy in Ghana.

Organisers said the Accra forum was designed to go beyond speeches and discussions by creating practical opportunities for Ghanaian entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and access international networks.
The selected entrepreneurs will now have the opportunity to take those connections to Cairo, where they can engage with global businesses, investors and potential partners while exploring opportunities beyond Ghana’s domestic market.
