A pastor has gained attention after storming a town in the Ashanti Region, Manso Yaw Krom, to remove what he described as a mysterious pot buried under a tree and allegedly responsible for deaths and the lack of development in the community.

According to a widely circulated video on social media, accompanied by a report, the pastor claimed that the town was not developing because of the said pot, which had allegedly been buried under the tree.

Almost the entire community gathered to witness the exercise, as some men from the town dug into the ground in an attempt to locate and remove the alleged mysterious pot.

The report indicated that the residents brought in an excavator to cut down the tree before the digging began. After the tree was felled, the men continued digging until the pastor performed what appeared to be a spiritual purification exercise before removing the alleged pot.

The pot was covered with a red band and contained some items inside.
