Ghana will have a new coach in place before the Black Stars regroup for their next assignment, according to GFA President Kurt Okraku.

In an interview with 3Sports, Okraku revealed that the appointment process is 99 percent complete, with the incoming coach already working behind the scenes.

“Ghana will have a coach before we regroup. What I know is that the coach who would lead the Black Stars is 99 percent in place. The coach who would lead the Black Stars is already working,” he stated.

Okraku explained that the process has reached its final stage, with only the signing of documents and formalisation of the relationship remaining.

“We are just at that last line where we have to sign papers and formalise the relationship. We have a machinery in place, and we are working,” he added.

The GFA President, however, declined to reveal the identity of the coach, leaving uncertainty over whether Carlos Queiroz will continue or Ghana will appoint a new technical head.
