Renowned business mogul Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong has disclosed some of the businesses and investments under his ownership, as well as ventures he jointly owns with members of his family and fellow business mogul Osei Kwame Despite.
Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, one of Ghana’s prominent entrepreneurs, shared insights into his diverse business interests, spanning financial services, media, real estate and investments, in a viral video on X sighted by GhanaWeb on Monday, August 17, 2026.
The businessman outlined a number of companies and ventures in which he has either sole ownership or joint interests.

Dr Ofori Sarpong said he is the owner of a specialised software company and also serves as the Board Chairman of Best Point Savings and Loans.
According to him, he jointly owns Best Point Savings and Loans with his father.
He further disclosed that he is a joint owner of United Television (UTV), a media company he owns in partnership with business mogul Osei Kwame Despite.
Beyond his interests in financial services and media, Dr. Ofori Sarpong said he also owns a real estate company and a special investment company.
He explained that some of his investments are also held jointly with his brother, highlighting the family-based nature of several of his business interests.
The businessman also mentioned other ventures under his ownership, including Special Ventures.
His disclosures provide a glimpse into the breadth of his entrepreneurial activities and the partnerships that have helped shape his business empire.
Dr Ofori Sarpong is also widely known for his longstanding business relationship with Osei Kwame Despite, with the two entrepreneurs having interests in a number of ventures.
