Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen has refused to rule out a move away from the Turkish giants amid growing speculation linking him with Arsenal.

The 27-year-old Nigerian forward spoke about his future after scoring both goals in Galatasaray’s frustrating 2-2 draw with newly promoted Corum FK at Rams Park on Friday, August 14, 2026.

According to a report by goal.com on August 15, 2026, Osimhen accepted responsibility for the disappointing result and apologised to Galatasaray supporters after the final whistle.

Asked about the persistent rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal, Osimhen remained diplomatic, suggesting that his future could become clearer after the transfer window.

“There are always rumours during the transfer windows. I’ll focus on my job. I’m focused on my work. We’ll see and think about what comes next then,” he stated.

Despite leaving the door open to a potential departure, Osimhen stressed that he remains committed to Galatasaray if he stays beyond the summer transfer deadline.

“It’s going to be a tough season. The team is aware of that. I’m ready to give everything for this club. This was an important wake-up call. It was a wake-up call for the players too,” he indicated.

The uncertainty surrounding Osimhen’s future has intensified following reports that Arsenal discussed a possible move for the striker during negotiations involving Gabriel Martinelli and teenage midfielder Ethan Nwaneri.

Osimhen, however, remains under contract with Galatasaray until June 2029.

The Nigeria international also urged his teammates to respond quickly to the disappointing opening result and reward the club’s supporters with improved performances.

“We have to give everything on the pitch. Our fans give us incredible energy; they always support us. We need to reciprocate,” adding that they need to gain momentum before the Champions League, to fight very well from the very first match.
