Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez reportedly agreed to an extraordinary financial arrangement before tying the knot, with the Portuguese superstar set to pay his wife £85,000 every month if their marriage ends.

The couple is understood to have signed a prenuptial agreement before their intimate wedding ceremony at their £30 million mansion in Cascais, Portugal.

According to reports in Portugal, and as echoed by Spanish outlet Marca, the agreement is based on a “separation of assets” regime.

This means Ronaldo and Georgina would generally retain ownership of assets acquired or held in their individual names rather than automatically splitting their wealth equally in the event of a divorce.

However, the reported agreement includes a significant financial provision for Georgina, with the model allegedly entitled to a monthly payment of £85,000 should the relationship come to an end.

The arrangement is said to have been introduced following the birth of their daughter, Alana Martina, with the intention of protecting Georgina and the couple’s children financially.

The agreement could also have implications for some of Ronaldo’s major properties.

Reports claim his £5 million mansion in Madrid’s exclusive La Finca area is registered in Georgina’s name.
