Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have agreed to keep their prenuptial assets separate despite tying the knot after a long-term relationship.

According to British media outlet Daily Mail, the couple agreed that assets—including money, investments, businesses, and other wealth owned before the marriage, would remain individual property, not shared or jointly owned, in order to protect each other.

This means that in the event of a divorce, each person would retain the assets they owned prior to the marriage.

Reports indicate that they signed a prenuptial agreement on August 10, 2026, a day before their wedding ceremony, at a public notary’s office in Lisbon.

The marriage document listed Cristiano’s full name, age (41), birthplace, and the names of his parents, including his late father José Dinis.

Similar details were listed for 32-year-old Georgina, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under her full name Georgina Luisa Rodríguez Hernández.

It was also noted that both would keep their pre-marriage names.

The 41-year-old football icon and Rodríguez, who have been together since meeting in Madrid in 2016, exchanged vows in Cascais, a coastal town west of Lisbon, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The intimate ceremony was attended by their five children. Ronaldo confirmed the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of their hands displaying wedding rings, accompanied by the caption: “C and G.”

The couple are parents to twins Eva María and Mateo, daughters Alana and Bella, and Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jr.
