The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League transfer window continues to gather momentum, with clubs strengthening their goalkeeping departments ahead of the new season.
Transfer updates as reported by sports journalist Shaban Mohammed on several deals already been completed, while a number of other transfers are at advanced stages.
Completed Deals
Debibi United have completed the signing of Aduana FC goalkeeper Massawudu Inusah on a two-year deal.
Meanwhile, Heart of Lions are set to complete the permanent signing of former King Faisal goalkeeper Edmund Wireko, who has already completed his medical. The deal is expected to be officially sealed this week.
Ongoing Talks
Asante Kotoko have offered Danlad Ibrahim a two-year contract, with negotiations now underway as the Porcupine Warriors seek to bring their former goalkeeper back to the club.
Danlad has already been included in the squad for the club’s pre-season activities in Accra.
Here are the latest completed signings and transfer gossip in the Ghana Premier League
Karela United have expressed strong interest in former Hohoe United goalkeeper Kwaku Musah, but face competition from Hearts of Oak, who are also pushing to secure his signature.
Berekum Chelsea are making progress in their negotiations with former Young Apostles goalkeeper Zulka Massawudu, with both parties reportedly edging closer to an agreement.
Former Dreams FC goalkeeper Augustine Koomson was spotted at Hearts of Oak’s training grounds, with negotiations expected to begin as the club looks to strengthen its goalkeeping department.
Debibi United are also in advanced negotiations to sign former Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Joshua Addai, with talks reportedly progressing well.
Elsewhere, 22-year-old Moroccan goalkeeper Abdel Wadie Mourad is reportedly set for a move to an unnamed Ghana Premier League club, although details of the deal are yet to be confirmed.
