GhanaWeb Commercial Manager Patrice Amegashie has left the company, effective August 13, 2026, following a productive period with the organisation.

Patrice joined GhanaWeb in January 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience in media and communications. During his time with the company, he contributed to business development, sales and marketing, event planning, content creation and concept development, supporting GhanaWeb's commercial and strategic growth.

The company described his departure as amicable and expressed appreciation for his contribution to the organisation.

“We are grateful for Patrice's contributions during his time with GhanaWeb. His industry insight and professionalism added real value to our commercial team, and we part ways on the best of terms. We wish him continued success as he moves on to new opportunities,” a company spokesperson said.

Before joining GhanaWeb, Patrice had established himself as an award-winning broadcast journalist and media personality. He gained national recognition as co-host of This Morning on Viasat 1 and subsequently held senior positions at Radio Gold and TV Africa, including Morning Show Host and Head of Programmes.

He is a two-time recipient of the Television Morning Show Host of the Year award at the Radio and Television Personality Awards. His career has also included work with major brands including MTN, UBA, Access Bank and Telecel.

His departure comes as he begins a new chapter in his career, with his extensive experience across media, communications, business development and marketing positioning him for further opportunities within the industry.
