Ghana goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is attracting interest from clubs in Europe, South America and Saudi Arabia following his impressive 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

The 34-year-old's representatives are actively exploring opportunities to secure a move abroad before the close of the transfer window.

German side Hertha BSC, Brazilian outfit Fortaleza and Swedish club Vasteras are among the clubs to have shown initial interest in the goalkeeper, although no concrete offer has been submitted at this stage.

Asare's stock has risen significantly after his World Cup campaign. He entered the tournament as Ghana's second-choice goalkeeper but went on to make three appearances.

He kept clean sheets against England and Panama, while his performance against England was one of the standout displays of his tournament.

Asare was also ranked among the top 10 best-performing goalkeepers at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, further increasing interest in his services.

Saudi Arabian clubs have also made contact over a possible transfer, but a move to Europe remains the preferred option for Asare and his representatives.

Asare remains under contract with Accra Hearts of Oak until 2027, having extended his stay with the club in 2025. His contract also includes an option for a further year.
