Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority NPA, Dramani Bukari, has been reported dead.

News of his passing is circulating on social media on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his death remain unconfirmed at this time.

Bukari was appointed Deputy CEO of the NPA in early 2025 by President John Dramani Mahama.

He held an MSc in Energy Economics (with distinction) and a PhD in Sustainable Energy Technologies.

Before his appointment, he served as Director of Entrepreneurship, Partnerships and Investments at the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre.
