Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, Kennedy Osei Nyarko, has assured public sector workers who believe they were unfairly dismissed by the current government that they will receive justice if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) returns to power.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, the lawmaker criticized what he described as the unjust removal of public servants and pledged that an NPP administration would review such decisions.

"If you were unjustifiably removed or sacked from office or your job by this Government, just be rest assured that you will get justice whenever the NPP returns to govern this country," he wrote.

Kennedy Osei Nyarko also stated that projects initiated by the previous NPP administration but allegedly halted by the current government would be reassessed and completed.

"Again, every project that was initiated by the previous Administration which has been deliberately discontinued will be reassessed and completed, including those that will be started by the NDC Government," he added.

He further expressed concern that the government's approach to governance could undermine national unity.

"We cannot build a united country with such approach and attitudes," he stated.

His comments come in the wake of a directive by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah revoking all appointments and recruitments made into the Public Service after December 7, 2024.

The directive affects individuals who were appointed or recruited into various public sector positions following the 2024 general elections.
