Defending champions Nigeria booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations with a commanding 6-2 victory over Egypt in their final Group C match on Wednesday August 5, 2026.

Egypt found the net twice but were unable to stop Nigeria's charge into the knockout stage.
