Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has expressed appreciation to investors who participated in the government's recent investor engagement, describing their confidence in Ghana's economic recovery as encouraging.

In a post shared on his official X account after the engagement on August 5, 2026, Dr Forson said the strong investor response reflected growing confidence in the country's economic direction and ongoing economic reforms.

"My sincere thanks to everyone who participated in our Investor Engagement yesterday. Your overwhelming confidence in Ghana's economic recovery and the work we are doing is both humbling and encouraging," he wrote.

The Finance Minister assured investors that the government would remain committed to implementing policies aimed at sustaining the country's economic recovery.

"We will not relent. We will continue working to build the Ghana we all want," he added.

The investor engagement comes as Ghana continues to pursue macroeconomic reforms with the government highlighting improvements in inflation, exchange rate stability, fiscal consolidation and external sector performance.

In recent months, international credit rating agencies have also acknowledged Ghana's improving economic outlook following progress in debt restructuring and fiscal reforms. The improved assessments have strengthened investor sentiment and raised expectations of a gradual return to international capital markets once macroeconomic stability is firmly restored.

The government has consistently maintained that ongoing reforms are aimed at restoring economic confidence, strengthening public finances, attracting private investment and laying the foundation for sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
