Premier League side Coventry City have agreed a deal to secure the signature of Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi in the 2026 transfer window on August 5.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League club have settled on a fee in the region of €27m plus €3m in add-ons to finalize the deal for the midfielder from FC Nordsjaelland.

The Black Stars midfielder is expected to travel to England to undergo medicals and possibly join his teammates ahead of the upcoming season.

This move follows Yirenkyi’s exploits at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he announced himself on the global stage by scoring a last-minute goal for Ghana to beat Panama in the opening game.
